Cresco Building Service, Inc. is an independent company that provides general contracting and construction management services primarily throughout the Tri-State area, operating within a ninety-mile radius from our office in Cresco, Iowa. Established in 1985, Cresco Building Service is a fully insured, licensed, and bonded entity. Over the years, we have successfully participated in a wide array of projects across commercial, educational, governmental, healthcare, religious, and manufacturing sectors. Since our inception, we have also been an authorized dealer for Varco Pruden Buildings, a leader in the commercial pre-engineered building and metal system construction industry.

We have implemented a detailed safety program overseen by our Safety Coordinator. All new full-time employees are required to complete the OSHA 10-hour safety course. We conduct weekly toolbox talks and bi-weekly Monday morning safety meetings. Our Safety Coordinator regularly performs unannounced site visits for safety audits. Additionally, we seek ongoing safety training from The Accel Group, working closely with their Senior Risk Improvement Specialists. New employees are required to review our company handbook and acknowledge both the handbook and our drug-free workplace policy. Consistent with our policy, unannounced or reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing may occur to maintain a drug-free environment.
